Color matching on the next level

I'd started partnering with the local cobbler to take on repairs like this. He needed new back straps and the custom color on his boots, that was my job. These were custom, very sentimental boots that a trusted friend had referred to me. It was the beginning of leveling up. It was like 5 colors and took a lot of sweat to blend in to such a custom patina.
